The ELKM-AG-E series series resistance cables feature a chromium-nickel wire structure where the energy-carrying and heat-generating components are the same. Designed for safe operation at temperatures up to 260°C, these cables can be manufactured with different resistance values and are widely used for heat tracing in long pipelines. Their resistance is directly proportional to their length.
To prevent excessive current flow, there is a minimum length limitation for their use. Selecting the appropriate resistance value is essential for optimal performance and energy efficiency.
