Afterwards ferrules are placed. The heating tape is connected directly to terminals in a junction box, IP 65 protection class. As an alternative, the heating tape can be connected directly to a connection cable by means of a butt connector. The heating circuit end is closed in each case with a heat shrinkable end cap.
